Work Day opportunity to get involved!!
Some amazing friends of ours have started in a wonderful venture here in Middle Tennessee. Eric, Chel, Zaden and Zaylee Dill own a beautiful area of land in Murfreesboro and have been dreaming and working towards starting a camp and ranch for children of all ages and walks of life. The Perrigo family has had a passion for using their horses, animals and talents for ministry and have teamed up with the Dills to start Son Valley Ranch.
The Ranch is in the process of being cleared out, cleaned up and made ready to house 16 campers. Eric, Matt and Laurel are headed to Oregon in two weeks for a training conference at a successful ranch similar to what they hope to build and grow here in our community. Please lift them up in prayer regarding this training! Look for a new website, videos and much more coming soon.
It’s amazing to see how God is working in our community, and Jon and I look forward to being involved along the way!

We’ve had a wonderful time hanging with our families and friends here in TX & LA! We’ve also put on about 10lbs eating all the local yummy foods that we love… uncle julios, sushi, danken trail, johnny’s pizza and crawfish, just to name a few…. ha, you can’t tell we missed the good TX/LA foods! 😉
I have been lazy and bad about taking pics here at home, but we did acquire some new gear for FP and snapped a few photos of Sawyer & Jax last week. It was rainy the entire time we were there, but one day we decided to go out with the grey skies anyway and stopped at a wheat field on the side of a highway for about 15 minutes one afternoon. Uncle Jon had fun trying to entertain them and let them chase him around the field. Props to Justin for the great editing!
We also shot a LoveStory video with our friends John & Erin here in LA. Their June 13th wedding is coming up soon and we were excited to be able to capture their thoughts and feelings about each other right now! Here is a photo from the shoot…. will post a link to the video on the FocalPoint blog as soon as it is up.
Headed back to TN tomorrow! Look forward to seeing our friends and not living out of a suit case! 🙂
